Morning Qigong at the Big Retreat 2018

“I have been attending Clare’s classes for at least three years now. It has become like visiting myself once a week. Gathering in the energy that gets diluted in the cares of everyday life and consolidating. Clare is very knowledgeable, unpretentious and attentive. On offer is a practical and enjoyable path to balance awareness and calm.”

All classes begin with a range of gentle warm-up exercises, these may be seated or standing depending on the class and the individual. They will include a range of relaxation, stretching, breathing and strengthening work. There is no competition and students soon learn to work to suit their own ability with ease, increasing their awareness of their own limitations and needs. These traditional remedial exercises begin to promote the flow of Qi and the flexibility to move, so that students can begin the journey of learning the Tai Ji or Qigong forms.

Please wear looses clothing and soft soled shoes.
