As the Coronavirus lockdown stopped all classes, I soon moved to teaching on line. These weekly classes have proved a great success and will continue as long as students find them useful.
The class takes place on Mondays from 4pm to 5.15pm with a recording of the class available for six days following the class. Everyone is welcome.
These classes included basic stretching, breathing and strengthening exercise, with letting go work to keep us going at this challenging time. Some of the work can be done seated and can be adapted to suit your individual needs.
They provide an introduction to the Traditional Chinese Medicine system and the 18 Qigong form.
You are welcome to email or phone me for further details. I am happy for you to try a class to see if it suits you, before committing to join for the term.
Monday didn’t feel the same! I have realised over the weeks how much you have helped us in lockdown. Thank you so much for all you put into it to help us relax and keep in good shape . Although I didn’t really know anyone we became Zoom friends. Friendly faces and voices.
I just wanted to say thanks for all the classes. They were such a comfort to me and really helped me to realise the benefit of simply having to slow down and breathe! Also I found so many of the exercises helped free my upper back and shoulders, where I always hold lots of cello tension!
Thanks again for all your brilliant zoom classes Clare, it really feels like a lifeline and helps me to know what day of the week it is too!
Thank you so much. I find having these sessions so beneficial both physically and mentally. Being part of such a group of like-minded people gives a sense of belonging during the isolation of lock down.
